The Sycamore School is excited to bring the Pathways High School Diploma Program to one of the buildings at Nimkee NupiGawagan Healing Centre (pending final approval and enrollment). This initiative will offer personalized education in community to youth from Oneida Nation of the Thames, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, and Munsee-Delaware Nation.
Sycamore School focuses on student-centred, relationship-based learning that supports youth on their own educational journey. Whether you're catching up on credits, pursuing new goals, or looking for an approach that reflects who you are, this program is built to meet you where you’re at—and help you move forward!
We believe that young people can succeed when given the support and motivation to do so. We care about developing relationships that foster each student’s belief in themselves and trust in us to guide them on their own personal success journey!
Earn High School Credits While You Build Robots!
The Sycamore School is proud to offer flexible, Ministry-inspected online high school credits for students participating in robotics, coding and other STEM-based programs that learn through hands-on, team-based challenges.
You can earn academic credit while doing what you love. Through courses like TAS1O (Exploring Technologies), TAS2O (Technological Design), and interdisciplinary credits or cooperative education credits that connect robotics with math, science, or business, your hands-on experience can count toward your Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
Our online model allows students to engage with the Ontario Curriculum, submit project-based assessments, and integrate their robotics tea particpation and competitions into their education. At Sycamore, we believe your passion should move you forward—both in the field and in the classroom. Let your innovation lead the way!
